“A consistent core team and approach to the audit allowed it to run more efficiently – no ‘daft’ questions this year. I think the mix of remote and on-site worked well. Generally speaking, the inflow portal is easy to use, but we would appreciate if the points could be adapted to be more bespoke to our business – if only to save numerous N/A comments.”

“Team seemed to work well and audit process was overall fairly smooth. A couple of areas of improvement: – Requests to subsidiary entities for direct audit work on components seemed less joined-up than requests to the UK team, as such some of the work (mainly Spain and Malaysia) had requests drag on for some time after the main work was completed. – Accounts production – I love that this is included in the scope and I’ve been impressed with the turnaround time on getting new versions. But we got to v6 on the audited Holdings accounts and v5 on the unaudited Limited accounts, with several of those versions involving easy formatting errors. Would be great to bring the number of iterations down.”

“The audit was run very well, keeping disruption to daily tasks for us as a client to a minimum. Communication was excellent throughout. The area I feel that could be improved is the provision of a clear walk forward from client TB to final stats as the unpicking of reclassifications and adjustments always results in unnecessary delays in reconciliation and numerous emails back and forth with the senior team. This could be avoided by having this file readily available.”
