You’re doing great. The only improvement is on the practical points and making sure that client instruction details are confirmed absolutely. Otherwise, wonderful.
Whilst appreciating the need for the audit to be conducted remotely, I felt it was very impersonal. More use of Teams and phone calls by the team actually doing the audit would have been better rather than everything being done via email. It was also very frustrating being asked for information that had already been uploaded.
This is our first year with CP so it’s been a learning experience for both of us, not helped by the pandemic and everything being remote. I think its gone as well as we could reasonably have expected but I’m sure it will be better when meetings can be face to face again and auditors visiting sites.
The team at CP are always very helpful and attend to all our requirements.
The school receives an excellent service from CP. In respect of the remote audit which was done due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this worked very well, but the remote working occasionally led to breakdowns in information flow and the school was obligated to submit some information more than once. That apart, the remote audit worked well and might be a long term solution as a guiding principle, perhaps with just the necessary spot checks on site.
Some in-year support would be useful, to ensure that the accounts are accurate and tidy in readiness for year end, and to give us some pointers about what we can be doing in Quarter 4 to be as prepared as possible for the audit.
