“The pre-audit session was very helpful. The opportunity to upload information, reconciliation etc in advance of the audit deadline helped reduce the dreaded audit stress. The use of Inflo for the audit was good and its red/amber/green system provided a helpful quick visual insight. The various staff through the audit process were very polite, helpful and despite being remote, made & took telephone calls which saved the need for copious (explanatory, etc.) emails.”

“Ben is amazing and if he had have been part of the audit field work team like the previous year then I would have scored you 5. However, as Ben is now leading the team and not completing field work we were surprised at the lack of understanding the field team had of education and education finance. Our team spent hours/days responding to requests from the field team that were more of a request for clarity as they didn’t understand education rather than auditing of the finance records and processes. We met with Ben and Chloe to address our concerns and Chloe tried to support further. Unfortunately the team spent a vast amount of time trying to explain the MAC reconciliations, processes, education and our spreadsheets. Only to find the spreadsheets reconciled but the field team were looking at the incorrect element, or trying to combine FA together for 2 schools to make things balance. The first team were stronger than the first and the 2 lads had a better understanding, the 2nd week was hopeless until Chloe and Ben stepped in.”
