“Excellent first year audit experience. Was considering giving 5 stars but there is always room for improvement! The audit of Cubiquity and Kennedy was particularly well received – particularly remote stock takes. Areas of improvement would relate to process from clearance meeting to finalising stats, but I am conscious that that is as much down to us as it is to you.”

“We are satisfied so far with Cooper Parry. We are working with a number of teams within CP and some we would describe as 4 or 5 out of 5, some 2 or 3, so this is a blended average. The tax and R&D teams have been superb. In general, your people are great, all extremely passionate, positive and knowledgeable in their respective areas. All teams are very responsive. A review of your pricing across all teams is required urgently (in our opinion), some of the hourly rates we have been quoted for ad-hoc work is phenomenal (more than big 4 pricing), and ultimately we have had no choice but to pay it as we needed the work doing quickly, but as part of a longer term partnership we don’t want to feel like that when it comes to requesting additional help or support and we don’t want to start taking work outside of CP as our intention is to have one partner who understands our business in depth. Our 2 audits so far have been painful, the first one more so than the other, which resulted in the audit cost effectively doubling. We can’t get our heads around how we have sailed through previous audits in 2 relatively easy/pain free weeks for the last 10-15 years, but the last 2 audits have dragged out way beyond that.”
