“I rate CP because of the people, Danny and Robin are excellent. I know I can pick up the phone and call them and have a good quality chat about my business needs and they will give it good attention. Particularly with Robin I have a lot of ‘what if’ tax conversations which are useful when planning strategy and these are always dealt with, with good humour and good advice ! Stand out work in the year has been quick efficient audit delivery, with some non-audit points raised, which is always appreciated by the board. We have also delivered some good tax savings, with Patent Box and R&D work completed, and explanations of the upcoming changes in these regulations have been dealt with well. In terms of developments and improvements, fees are a point of contention, it unfortunately feels like a fight every time we discuss fees. There have been two examples in the last year where agreed fees for work have been increased before the work commences in conversations, then I have had to remind that we agreed something different. It just takes a shine off the service a little.”
