Stand out work in the year has been quick efficient audit delivery, with some non-audit points raised, which is always appreciated by the board. We have also delivered some good tax savings, with Patent Box and R&D work completed, and explanations of the upcoming changes in these regulations have been dealt with well. In terms of developments and improvements, fees are a point of contention, it unfortunately feels like a fight every time we discuss fees. There have been two examples in the last year where agreed fees for work have been increased before the work commences in conversations, then I have had to remind that we agreed something different. It just takes a shine off the service a little.”

Audit was very efficient and done quickly, support from other teams also helped the business as we have recovered large amounts of tax savings. Perhaps some more communication on deadlines would help but it also applies equally to our group as I’m not always aware of what has been agreed.
