What do you do?

I am a Manager in the Transaction Services teams in London, specialising in financial due diligence in mergers and acquisitions. As a team we guide our clients through their process of either buying a business or setting their business up for a sale process. The work I do helps them identify and ascertain the magnitude of risks, opportunities associated[?], and assist them in making decisions based on an understanding of the financials.

Why do you do it?

My career started in audit where I gained a strong/deep understanding of entity financial statements, building the foundations of what I do today. I’ve always thoroughly enjoyed building relationships with clients whilst helping them navigate through any concerns they may have with either their own financial statements or in respect of/relation to an entity they’re targeting for a purchase.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

My experience spans multiple sectors such as education, manufacturing, tech/software and business services, with clients of varying involvement within the world of transactions. Therefore, requiring a different approach in each project scenario.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

I enjoy challenging myself in both my career and personal life.

Top of my bucket list currently is to explore new places and activities. This Spring I am trekking to Everest base camp.
