What do you do?

My role at Cooper Parry is a Relationship Partner. As a relationship partner, I work closely with my clients as the main point of contact, understanding where they are now and where they are trying to get to, leading our team to provide pragmatic solutions to allow them to achieve their goals. My role also includes that of the Audit Partner and am responsible for delivery of our audit and signing of the audit report.

Why do you do it?

I love building relationships with clients, understanding their challenges and helping to resolve them. The fast paced, dynamic environment is why I enjoy working what I do – no day is ever the same and it’s great to be able find solutions whether it be a commercial or accounting challenge.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

As Relationship Partner I work with a variety of business, whether privately owned, PE backed or international owned and in a range of sectors, including manufacturing, distribution, and service-based sectors. Alongside overseeing the audit of many of these businesses I also get involved in a variety of projects from advising on personal and corporate strategy, supporting in the recruitment of key people in a client’s finance team, working closely with management through the process of selling their business.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

Seeing more of the world. I have been lucky enough to visit Africa safari, but I would love to visit parts of the US, Canada and Australia in the future, as well as taking my two girls to Disney World In Florida!
