What do you do?

I wanted to be a pilot but I was born too early!

Now all I do is talk about tax, death and divorce. Oh, and I love trusts, so you might not invite me to your parties but I can help you protect your wealth.

Why do you do it?

I’ve been doing it for over 30 years and I’m passionate about helping our clients to retain their wealth which they have worked hard to accumulate. Giving clients peace of mind is something that really makes me proud and is something we really cherish in our team.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

Well the issues are serious so my main goal is to help people find a tax efficient solution to their problem or concerns. It’s generally about having a plan B to fall back on in case things don’t work out. And after working in tax since 1993 I can assure you that sometimes they don’t.

Some days I’m advising on what your Will should look like to give protection and tax savings and other days I’m working with my colleagues on the restructure of your business. But the goal is the same – protection from tax but also the other stuff that life throws at us.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

I’m really proud to say that I’ve recently conquered one of the things on my bucket list which was running the London Marathon in aid of the British Heart Foundation.  I really dislike running but wanted to push myself and raise funds for a charity very close to my heart.
