What do you do?

I’m a Data & Intelligence Director we help businesses make sense of their data – marketing, sales, customer, financial, and everything in betweenWe stitch it all together to give them a complete picture of their business performance, in real time, reducing the effort spent on building reporting so they can focus on insight and optimisation.  

Why do you do it?

I’ve had a passion for numbers from a young age, and studied Mathematics at university. Not knowing what to do next, I landed a role at digital marketing agency doing analytics, fell in love with spreadsheets and charts and haven’t looked back.  There is a real joy from seeing a client’s joy at finally getting a sense of all the different data they have, and being able to make decisions from it. 

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

Have worked with some amazing brands over the years, including building out the reporting practice for Nike in Western EuropeOne highlight was being in the data hub in Amsterdam during the 2014 World Cup, providing live tracking and reporting on their social performance and engagementYou get as much enjoyment working with large businesses and teams like GSK and Net-A-Porter, as you do with smaller businesses where you can really see the impact of your work on the whole company. 

What’s on top of your bucket list?

I’m a big sports fan, so would love to tick off a few things, like watching the Ashes in Australia, playing golf at Augusta, finally seeing Crystal Palace (the other CP) win a trophy!
