What do you do?

I lead the tax services to a number of (mostly) larger and more complex companies, which include AIM listed, private equity backed, internationally or privately-owned companies. This involves delivering tax solutions and solving tax problems, ensuring that these support the commercial decision making of the management team.

Why do you do it?

I like the challenge and complexity of tax, and the fact that it constantly changes. I enjoy working with a wide range of companies, who have massively differing requirements. Add to that the talented group of people at CP supporting this process… this leads to a better client experience, and a better team experience with great opportunities to develop.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

A wide range of advisory projects. I really enjoy those where our clients have the seed of an idea, and we work with them to really shape what this looks like and to ensure it is tax efficient.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

To complete an Ironman. Quite simply because of the challenge – I just need to find some time to train for it!
