What do you do?

As CFO at Cooper Parry, I’m responsible for overseeing the financial health and performance of the business. My role goes beyond the numbers — it’s about helping to shape our strategic direction, and enabling the business to scale with control and confidence. We focus on having a finance function that supports sustainable, forward-looking growth, underpinned by strong data and clear decision-making. Ultimately, our role is to act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, helping drive long-term value across the business.

Why do you do it?

My career has been predominantly in M&A, and I actually advised Cooper Parry on its recent deal with Lee Equity, which is how I first got to know the business. I was genuinely impressed — not just by the ambition, but by the culture, energy, and clarity of vision. That experience stuck with me, and when the opportunity came up to join, it felt like a natural next step. I’ve always enjoyed helping businesses grow — and now I get to do that from the inside, with a market-leading team that is pushing the boundaries.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

Right now, we’re scaling the finance team to match the pace of growth across the business. Cooper Parry is expanding rapidly — through both organic growth and acquisitions, and that brings a huge opportunity to build a finance function that’s not just fit for now, but future-ready. We’re investing in better data, smarter systems, and sharper reporting to give the business real-time insights and agility. That means we can make faster, better decision and ultimately deliver a smoother, more impactful experience for our clients.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

Near the top of my bucket list is taking some proper time out to travel with my family — somewhere really memorable, like India or Japan. I’ve got two young kids, and while they’re at that magical age where everything is an adventure, I’d love to give them (and us) an experience we’ll never forget!
