What do you do?

Hard to describe in a few words as I have a rather unique job in tax in that I only have one client and spend most of my time thinking about how we can be the best at delivering great tax compliance work, managing risk and developing and recruiting the best tax team.

Why do you do it?

I have worked in tax for over 25 years starting straight from university while I decided what I really wanted to do! I have worked for CP for just over a year now and have the best job! I still love the technical side of tax but now have the freedom to really think about how we work, so my focus is now on working with the right clients, creating the slickest processes with the best people.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

Currently involved in a transformational project to completely change the way we do tax compliance work putting the client at the heart and introducing a digital platform to revolutionise our processes and risk management.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

Road trip through Italy, a country I have always wanted to visit, the combination of history, vibrant cities and beautiful coastline what more could you want!
