What do you do?

Think of me as a problem-solver who is dedicated to delivering exceptional client service. I help businesses navigate a broad spectrum of corporate legal matters, including restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, legal due diligence etc. I take pride in simplifying complex corporate legal issues, ensuring clients can focus on their goals with confidence. By collaborating closely with tax and accounting teams, I help provide a seamless, one-stop solution that means our clients can focus on the things that matter to them most.  

Why do you do it?

For me, the best part of being a corporate solicitor is getting to talk to clients who are doing incredible things in their respective industries. Hearing about their visions and ambitions is inspiring, and I love being able to help turn those ideas into reality. Whether it’s guiding a business through a complex restructuring, implementing incentive schemes etc., being part of their journey and contributing to their success is what makes this work so rewarding. 

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I’ve had the privilege of working on a diverse range of incredible projects, but one that truly stands out was my involvement in the acquisition of a wildly popular iPhone game, one I spent countless hours playing on my iPod Touch (remember those?!) with friends during bus rides to secondary school. It was a full-circle moment for me, and yes, I couldn’t resist re-downloading the app and shamelessly spending my weekend reliving that nostalgic childhood experience. 

What’s on top of your bucket list?

Anyone who knows me knows I’m obsessed with dogs, especially my two Samoyeds (think small polar bears, but a lot friendlier!). At the top of my bucket list is taking them to the Yukon in Canada to learn how to sled, with the goal of competing in the Kearney Sled Dog Race. To make that happen, I’ll need at least eight Samoyeds (only six to go!).
