What do you do?

I lead a team of people who deliver services to our larger clients, including those listed on AIM and those backed by PE. My team provide a number of different services, including external audit, internal audit and helping clients with complex accounting matters.

Why do you do it?

Lots of different audits. I really enjoy helping clients exit, be it through a secondary buyout, raising debt or IPO.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I love helping my clients, sharing the experience I have gained from working in the profession for more than 20 years. I love a tricky accounting question and working through the issue with my team to get to the right answer.

I love meeting new businesses and learning about what is at the heart of what they do and why they do it. I’m lucky to be learning every week.

I love the fact that at Cooper Parry, we’re constantly challenging ourselves to do things better… Better client experience, better team experience… I’m blessed to work with some bright, dedicated, brilliant people here.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

I’m into marathon running at the moment and was lucky enough to do the London Marathon last year and Manchester this year… So it’s Paris next year and then hopefully New York.
