What do you do?

I’m an Audit Director working in our Big Business team.

I lead the audit relationships of some of Cooper Parry’s more complex clients, including large groups, AIM listed entities and private equity backed businesses. I also work on pitches for new clients and have a team head role with responsibility for looking after the people that work in our Big Business team.

Why do you do it?

I love the variety and independence I have in my role. Every audit engagement I have is a mini project, with a different team, and different challenges. I am able to work with that team, and the client, with enough freedom to feel like I am in control, but with so much incredible support from peers if I need it.

I genuinely learn something new every week, and am lucky enough to have the opportunity to work on unique projects and proposals in between the audit work I complete.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I lead the audit of large corporates, but also get involved in some proposals for new work, alongside our fantastic business development colleagues

What’s on top of your bucket list?

I have two very young children and I just want to soak up as much time with them as possible and help them have the best experience growing up as I can give them.
