What do you do?

I’m an Associate Director in the CP Deals team. I love guiding business owners and management teams through the next phase of their business journey, whether it’s planning an exit strategy or securing investment to fuel their growth. 

Why do you do it?

It’s a privilege to get to work with entrepreneurs, business leaders and ambitious people and to be involved in such a significant life event for the business owners and investors. Getting under the skin of a company, understanding what makes the business tick and working closely with driven leaders is genuinely exciting and I look forward to the variety that confronts me on a daily basis.   

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I’ve worked across a range of different projects across a range of sectors, including deals in the automotive, health and social care, tech and industrial sectors. A real variety! More recently, I advised on the sale of a vehicle finance brokerage business, Creditas Financial Solutions to Carlyle-backed Evolution Funding and the sale of Dragon 2000, an automotive software specialist to France-based Lacour Group.  

What’s on top of your bucket list?

Although I would have liked it to have lasted longer, I managed to tick off seeing Scotland at a major football finals at Euro 2024 in Germany. I love most sports and think the number one event would be a Ryder Cup in the USA. Other than that, I love to travel to new places and I’m an avid skier – Japan ticks both boxes!
