What do you do?

I am a Corporate Finance Executive in the Cooper Parry team. I spend my time doing various tasks including, but not limited to writing information memorandums; researching prospective buyers for a disposal mandate; reaching out to potential buyers and performing financial analysis over a client’s financial data.  

Why do you do it?

I chose to apply for a Corporate Finance role after working in the Private Equity Audit department at my previous employer. I thoroughly enjoyed researching businesses and understanding the mechanics behind them. I was intrigued by the different ways in which a company could be valued and loved learning about businesses from a wide array of sectors and industries. Once I qualified with my previous employer, I left my role in audit and joined Cooper Parry in January 2024. 

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I have been involved in numerous projects including those in the Automotive, Industrial, Logistics and Food sectors. I have assisted on disposal and acquisition mandates and am looking forward to increasing my experience moving forward.  

What’s on top of your bucket list?

I would love to go travelling with my partner at some point in the future. I have travelled around Australia and New Zealand and absolutely loved it. The top places on my list would be South America and Southeast Asia.
