What do you do?

I analyse financial information, providing an in-depth review of a company’s finances to assess performance and uncover any potential risks prior to a transaction.

Why do you do it?

Working in Transaction Services allows me to use the skills I developed during my academic and professional studies to provide added value to our clients. Having previously worked at a Big 4 firm, I’m excited to be involved in the growth of an ambitious firm disrupting the market. Our team bring experience from a variety of backgrounds and we have combined the best of our previous experiences in growing our culture at CP.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

Since joining at the end of 2023, I have been involved in several buy-side due diligence projects across a range of sectors including funeral care, debt collection and SaaS. Each project provides a very different challenge, I enjoy working closely with our clients and the management of target businesses to understand the performance of the business from a financial and commercial perspective. As we continue to expand, I am looking forward to working on sell-side projects and gaining experience across a wider variety of sectors.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

As a keen golfer I recently returned to work following a career break where I spent some time living in St Andrews, Scotland and New Zealand and I was fortunate to have some fantastic opportunities and experiences whilst away. Next up I would love to do a road trip of the west coast of the USA.
