What do you do?

If I was to try and summarise: I understand the vision, strategy and challenges that businesses face and make their lives easier. By exploring these areas and asking thought provoking questions, I aim to help grow the profit of a business and drive efficiencies by presenting the best solutions possible and introducing them to outstanding people.

Having over 25 years experience working across several sectors and sizes of organisations (from large SMBs to massive corporates) it gives me an excellent insight as to the challenges any business may face…and I understand that each business is unique.

Why do you do it?

I love to solve problems, learn and help others. I’ve always been fascinated by business and try to make sure I get better at what I do every day. I’m a massive believer in creating an awesome client experience and this starts from the first engagement with a business and its people.

I’m quietly (very) competitive but not at the expense of others. Creating team unity is essential in any walk of life to achieve success. I love understanding the unique qualities of people and love building relationships with people who inspire me – leaders, visionaries and those with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Oh, and I love what I do.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

They say never go back – well they’re wrong. This is my second spell at CP having previously spent 10 years with the firm where I was responsible for the market facing strategy for the firm, leading the business development team, and helped to shape the marketing and communications we delivered.

Prior to re-joining CP, I worked in the cyber security industry for a global market leading cloud security, data protection, and identity & access management business. Here I helped large corporate and multi-national businesses overcome their cyber challenges.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

Being a family man, nurturing an environment where we can all flourish is top of my list. I’ve 4 children and I want them, and me, to create memories, have fun, and smile every day.

I do also love my sport, especially rugby, so maybe go and watch the Lions on a tour to South Africa too.
