What do you do?

I’m an audit manager within the Not-for-Profit team. I provide efficient audit services for charities and academies. It’s all about building relationships and adding value along the way. Making sure that we deliver what the client needs in a straightforward and approachable way.

Why do you do it?

The great thing about working within the world of not for profit, is that you very rarely need to explain ‘why’ you do it. Supporting the needs of those who are often the driving force behind supporting the most needy, is a privilege. We can help them make a real difference by making sure they get the support they need to ensure they’re compliant with charity law when it comes to their finances.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I work with a wide range of charities, schools and Multi Academy Trusts. I enjoy learning about different organisations. Their passion for what they do is inspiring. As well as leading audit projects I’m keen to use any feedback to improve our service and ways of working.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

I’d like to go to Iceland to see the northern lights. It’s one of those natural phenomena’s that everyone should see once in their lifetime. They look really magical, and I’d love to see them in person.
