What do you do?
Put simply: I help organisations to grow. My role is to really understand the vision of your business, where you are today, and where you want to go tomorrow. Because then, I can find the right solutions and support to drive performance and, ultimately, make your life much easier.
I have over 20 years’ experience working with ambitious, growing – and often complex – organisations, which means I know how to ask the right questions, explore the dilemmas or opportunities your business is facing, and find the right answers.
Why do you do it?
When I was younger, I never imagined I’d be doing this type of work, but I’ve always been fascinated by businesses, the people who lead them, and what makes them tick.
I love working with entrepreneurs; visionaries who are out to disrupt, lead, and make life count – just as we are at CP. And I love building relationships with brilliant businesses; helping them to tackle the complexities they face and unlock their growth potential along the way.
What kind of projects have you been involved in?
I’ve worked with a number of fast-growth businesses as a consultant and Non-Executive Director in the UK and US. Many of my projects have focused on how organisations can grow market-share through new or existing channels, enhance the way they perform and ultimately move closer to their vision.
What’s on top of your bucket list?
Lockdown has taught me a lot, especially when it comes to my bucket list, and I’ll never take for granted the opportunity to go to live music, or sporting events, or a weekend break in Europe again!
I always thought bucket lists were about doing something remarkable and different. Lockdown changed that. Now, my bucket list involves spending more quality time with my friends and family… Whether they want to spend it with me is a different question!
