  • Chief People Officer

What do you do?

I’m responsible for shaping and driving the culture of CP. I ensure that we attract, retain and develop the very best talent, provide them with an amazing career and experience so they in turn provide our clients with remarkable service.

Why do you do it?

I’m grateful to be in such a privileged career such as HR. This role provides a platform to really make a difference to peoples’ lives. Not just their professional lives but their personal lives too.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

Building a world class culture that has included everything from how we attract and hire the best people, how we develop them, how we reward and recognise them. Creating an environment that allows people to discover what they are truly great at and giving them the opportunity to do what they are passionate about.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

I have a long list and it’s hard to pick just one thing, but for me the ultimate is to own a small animal sanctuary and to be able to be as self sufficient as possible.

Why? Because life is full of consumption and constant activity and it’s good for the body and mind to be able to step away from that when you need to. I feel truly relaxed when I’m outside in nature or around animals. Both have a calming effect on me and there’s something special about going back to basics, using skills that have been around for hundreds of years, growing your own food and using your hands to build and make things. I get a great sense of satisfaction and achievement when I eat or use something that has been entirely created by me or somebody I care about.
