What do you do?
My job entails providing advice that helps business owners crystallize the value, in many cases, of their life’s work.
The day-to-day ranges from preparing marketing materials, finding and communicating with buyers for businesses, to managing due diligence processes.
Why do you do it?
Corporate Finance appealed to me because I’m passionate about learning and I enjoy understanding how and why things work.
The role in CF gives me endless opportunity to get to know the intricacies that make a wide range of businesses, from healthcare apps to fridge manufacturers, tick. No two days are the same!
The chance to deliver great results for our clients, that are clearly defined and easily measured, is the cherry on top.
What kind of projects have you been involved in?
I’ve been involved in several sell-side advisory projects across a range of sectors so far, where we’re working with shareholders, helping them to realize the value of their equity.
Through discussions with shareholders, our knowledge of sectors and M&A market trends, we’re able to fully understand and clearly articulate key selling points of businesses. Which ultimately helps to drive value for our clients.
What’s on top of your bucket list?
I’m 100% going to get an RV at some point and drive around the world. It’s a big place, I want to see it all, and I can’t think of a better way to truly experience its many different places and cultures.
