The CP Deals Transaction Services team has enjoyed another stellar quarter, supporting a string of successful deals across a number of sectors. 

The team continue to help clients iron out the complexities of buying, selling or investing in a new business. And it’s their expert financial and tax due diligence advice that will give you peace of mind before, during and after these landmark moments.

  • Acquisition of Caerphilly Funeral Service 

CP Deals provided financial and tax due diligence support for the acquisition of Caerphilly Funeral Service by Funeral Partners Ltd. 

With their primary funeral home in Caerphilly and a smaller location in Cardigan Close, Pontypridd, Caerphilly Funeral Service has become a key part of the local community and developed an exceptional reputation for serving their clients and families. 

 The deal expands Funeral Partners’ presence in Wales and displays the benefits of the CP Deals team’s joined-up financial and tax due diligence advice. 

  • Acquisition of Blaze Networks Ltd. 

CP Deals provided financial and tax due diligence advice on Rockpool Investments-backed Communicate Technology’s investment in Blaze Networks Ltd. 

Blaze Networks is a security-focused managed service provider with SD-WAN networking expertise. 

Communicate, a leading provider of cyber security and IT network solutions, is set to further enhance its technical capabilities with Blaze’s expertise in designing and delivering multi-site, wide area networks using the latest SD-WAN and SASE technologies 

This deal showcased CP Deals’ deep sector knowledge in IT Managed Services and strong collaborative approach, with our Transaction Services and Transaction Tax teams working together to provide seamless and focused due diligence advice and recommendations. 

  • Acquisition of Trinitatum Ltd. 

CP Deals provided financial and tax due diligence and SPA support on Literacy Capital plc’s investment into Trinitatum in another fantastic, collaborative deal.  

Founded in 2013, Trinitatum is a leading provider of test automation software and services for the energy and financial trading markets. The business has spent over a decade developing its proprietary Trinagle software, building strong relationships with blue-chip customers and establishing itself as a trusted provider of high-quality test solutions. 

With Literacy Capital’s backing, Trinitatum is set to accelerate its growth, expand its management team and explore new market opportunities. 

  • Acquisition of Wootton & Wootton 

CP Deals provided financial and tax due diligence support on Ipsum’s acquisition of Wootton & Wootton – a specialist transmission and distribution engineering company. 

The strategic acquisition strengthens Ipsum’s capabilities and enhances its service coverage across the Midlands and Wales. 

Wootton & Wootton’s expertise in cable installation, jointing, testing and decommissioning will integrate seamlessly into Ipsum’s existing power offering, supporting its work with UK Transmission and Distribution Network operators, developers and private network owners. 

  • Acquisition of Computer Geeks Ltd. 

CP Deals provided financial and tax due diligence and SPA support in connection with Pictet Group-backed TSG’s latest acquisition in the Tech space, Computer Geeks Ltd. 

Computer Geeks is a Bristol-based managed service provider with a strong focus on Microsoft cloud, workplace and cyber security solutions. 

The transaction enhances TSG’s managed services platform and further strengthens its presence in the South West. It also showcased CP Deals’ specific Tech sector experience and multi-dimensional offering.
