Following the significant recent investment from Waterland Private Equity, we’ve further strengthened the Leadership team to help deliver our ambitious plans for five-fold growth by 2027.

Timothy Mahapatra has been brought in as a strategic adviser to spearhead the focus on growth opportunities through senior hires and acquisitions as well as to support CP’s Leadership Team in executing their overall strategy.

He brings vast senior partner level experience with a number of leading professional services firms (notably Deloitte and Alvarez & Marsal) including senior leadership roles across a broad range of business areas globally and in the UK.

At A&M, Timothy took a leading role in trebling the size of the EMEA Region over four years including developing new services and various industry groups. At Deloitte, as the Global Managing Director for Financial Advisory (one of Deloitte’s four global business lines) he led a global team achieving significant growth and prior to that led the same business in the UK. More recently, he has been working with private equity firms and their portfolio companies on both origination and post deal value creation as well as Non-Exec roles for tech and high growth firms.

Timothy will work alongside CEO Ade Cheatham and CP’s Leadership Team (including the recently appointed COO hire from HSBC, Phil Erridge).

COMMENTING ON TIMOTHY JOINING US, ADE SAID:

“Tim has been on our radar for a while and his fantastic knowledge and experience of growing professional services firms and the M&A market will be invaluable in our growth drive. I’m thrilled to have Tim on board at such an exciting time on our turbo-charged growth journey. With such ambitious plans in place, it’s never been more important to attract (and retain) talents like this.”

ON JOINING CP, TIMOTHY ADDED:

“As soon as I discovered CP’s vision, I was hooked. It is bold, as well as challenging. It is also brilliantly disruptive. I relish the combination of growing organically by doing what we’re best at and accelerating it even more through finding likeminded firms to join us. I can’t wait to see how the next chapter in CP’s journey unfolds.”
