We’re always seeking to understand what we do well here at CP, and where we can do better. Following the results of our Annual Benefits Survey, we launched four brand-new family friendly policies to help support our CPers to #MakeLifeCount. Those policies were Fertility Treatment, Neo-Natal Care, Pregnancy Loss and Parental Bereavement.
But we didn’t stop there.
Just before the 2024 Christmas holidays, we added to that family policy list, launching our enhanced family leave policy. But what does that entail?
ENHANCED FAMILY LEAVE POLICY: THE DETAILS
Any CPers going on parental leave from 1 January 2025 will be offered this new entitlement, allowing them to spend as much time as possible with their family as they enter an exciting new chapter.
Here’s what it looks like:
- Maternity – 6 months full pay, followed by 3 months half pay
- Paternity – 3 months full pay.
- Shared Parental and Adoption will follow statutory guidelines, but it will include the above enhancements based on eligibility.
