Andy leads both Cooper Parry’s Healthcare team and the Corporate Finance business, recently taking on the role of Head of Healthcare across our international M&A network of 30 dealmaking countries. Andy and the team focus on working with entrepreneurs at the critical phases in the development of their business, from attracting private equity investment to selling when the time is right. Deep market knowledge; strong relationships with private equity and strategic buyers; and over 25 years’ experience advising on healthcare deals across the sector, add real value to clients and gets deals done. 

Joanne leads the Pinsent Masons Healthcare team, specialising in private company and private equity work, including acquisitions and disposals, buy-ins and buy-outs, joint ventures and investments. The team is focused on three fundamental values: improving access to quality healthcare, addressing how we look after the most vulnerable people in society, and collaborating with others on ways to improve the prospects of living well for longer. As part of this strategy, Joanne has extensive experience working with leaders and organisations across the entire Health & Social Care spectrum.

As a qualified medical doctor and former senior McKinsey consultant, Leonid now runs the management consultancy Candesic. Specialising in healthcare and social care, Leonid is perfectly placed to discuss the current M&A landscape and what buyers are looking for.

With over 15 years’ experience as a Senior Leader (CEO and COO) within the Healthcare Services industry (dental, veterinary, funerals and care), Emma has acquired and integrated over 200 businesses and was part of Executive teams in two successful exits. Now, as a certified business coach at Focalpoint, Emma partners with business owners and senior leadership teams to bring forth new possibilities never imagined.

With a background as CFO in private equity backed businesses, Andrew joined Helping Hands (private pay homecare) in 2014, where the team generated over £100m of shareholder value by the time of its private equity investment in 2018. Andrew has since taken on a number of private pay homecare franchises with Home Instead. 

As a communications consultant specialising in corporate communications and reputation management within the health & social care sectors, Nathan advises the Boards of some of the UK’s largest health and social care providers, spanning both the private and public sectors. With numerous awards and accolades, including ‘Young Communicator of the Year’ and HealthInvestor Magazine’s ‘Strategic Consultancy of the Year’, he will discuss how the health and social care landscape may change after the next general election.
