5TH NOVEMBER, 12-1pm

Autumn ’24 marked Labour’s first Budget in over 14 years, delivered by Rachel Reeves, the UK’s first female Chancellor. Markets reacted quickly: the FTSE 250 rose as Reeves outlined her plans, while gilt yields took a dip, hinting at cautious optimism.

In the run up to the announcement Sir Keir Starmer had stated that the proposed changes would be ‘painful’, and ‘tough’, and in their pre-election campaign, Labour made a point of trying to win over the tech community with policies that promised increased investment and economic stability.

So did the Budget do just the trick or are there bones to pick?

Join our live session on 5th November that will specifically analyse the impact on startups, scaleups, founders and management teams. Hosted by CP stalwarts Simon Morris, Head of Private Client, and James Peck, Head of Tech & High Growth Tax, they’ll dissect and debate the impact on both individuals and companies.
