What do you do?

I work as an Audit Manager within the Big Business team. I manage a variety of clients in different industries, from toilet paper manufacturing to sustainable property development!

Why do you do it?

I always considered myself methodical and good with numbers, so I did a degree in accounting a finance which then led me into the world of audit. I’ve always preferred working in practice due to the variety of work and ability to help clients with a number of needs that they may have.

Cooper Parry stood out to me as being different and challenging the norm, we certainly don’t look like your typical auditors!

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

Being new to Cooper Parry, one of my main projects has been assisting with the onboarding of new audit clients, and showing them the “CP way”. They’ve already been wowed by us in order to come on board, but it’s great to start working with them and show them that we walk the walk as much as we talk the talk.

Before joining Cooper Parry, I spent eight years at Crowe in central London working in corporate audit, with a mix of AIM listed audit clients and international groups.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

My ultimate bucket list item would be to go and watch the mighty Aston Villa win the Champions League but I may be waiting a while for that one! In the meantime, I’d love to visit Japan as it’s so different to most other places.
