Pensions Age Awards 2024

As silence fell in London’s Grosvenor House Hotel before the winners of the 2024 Pensions Age Awards were announced, our Pensions Audit team found themselves in familiar territory. But that didn’t stop the bated breath.

With the 2020 and 2021 ‘Pensions Accountancy Firm of the Year’ trophies already taking pride of place on the CP mantelpiece, we’d tasted victory before. But the world – and indeed the industry – are different places now. And we knew this one would be just as sweet.

With the revision of auditing standards ISA 315 and ISA 240 creating a big chunk of work for every auditor, we stuck to our guns: always searching for a more simple, more effective, downright better way to keep ‘wowing’ our awesome clients.

Did it work? Seems so. Because we’re delighted to say we’re…

PENSIONS ACCOUNTANCY FIRM OF THE YEAR. AGAIN

Throughout a year many pensions auditors have found tricky, the team has maintained sky-high client feedback scores, and when we asked them, “How are we doing?”, they scored us 9/10.

We’ve still never missed a deadline. We’ve won a whole range of new clients, purely through referrals and word of mouth. And in September 2023, we were awarded the Pensions Protection Fund’s (PPF) prestigious Trustmark, which recognises specialist knowledge and commitment to delivering the highest standards of service.

So, it’s a hat-trick of totally deserved prizes.

Helen Scothern, Pensions Audit Associate Partner, said:

“This is brilliant news and I’m so proud of such an amazing team. This trophy is a true testament to all the fab people I work with, their passion for pensions and our incredible clients who make all our work worth it. We’re delighted to win for the third time, and we’ll be doing all we can to make sure it’s not our last.”
