What do you do?
Do you ever ponder late at night, questioning whether you paid the right amount for the lift repairs in your block of flats, or how much the new batteries in the fire alarm cost?
That’s where I step in. What I do is make sure you aren’t paying more or less than you’re supposed to. I help give you the confidence that you know what you’re paying is right, so you haven’t got to worry if you’re paying too much that might impact your weekly pub fund.
Why do you do it?
I’m as big of a nerd as they come. I stereotype the glistening braces and rep poor posture like it’s going out of fashion. Having seen that I’m able to fulfill this lifestyle in a fresh and exciting role, where each day is different, challenging the norm, and broadening my skillset whilst being able to sit behind my laptop – it was fate in an open hand. And that’s exactly why I ended up at CP – so that I can do all of the above, but in a vibrant, colorful environment with a slightly improved posture.
What kind of projects have you been involved in?
With so many projects across so many clients, it would be impossible to pick one out as shining example.
Each project however, whether that be a more current interim project, entails having to liaise with the client to ensure the appropriate accounting treatment is being recorded in the working papers, supporting the client with further queries and consolidating information across an entire annual period.
What’s on top of your bucket list?
I’m an absolute rave machine, but I’ve had to of course fit this lifestyle more in line with my professional career – that’s where a gregarious gig steps in. A gig, unlike a night around toon, feels like a night out, except it only lasts a couple of hours and then you can retire back home while feeling like you’ve had the full night round toon experience. So with that said the top of my bucket list would have to be a round trip to Aus to watch Sticky Fingers, Ocean Alley & Lyall Moloney live back to back.
