    What do you do?

My role is all about Trusts.

I help clients to protect their assets for the use of current and future generations, whilst staying in control and remaining tax efficient.

    Why do you do it?

I genuinely love what I do.  I did not always plan to work with clients who settle Trusts, but I did always plan to Graduate with an Accounting degree, qualify ACA and work in Practice.

Cooper Parry is the place for me because I enjoy the freedom to do what I need to do for my clients and the team, while also spending quality time with my family.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I lead many projects outside of the annual reporting requirements. Inheritance tax planning is one of the areas I enjoy the most, because with good forward planning I can reduce my clients tax liabilities.

Other projects differ in scope but have the same intention. That is to calculate the most tax efficient way to add and remove assets from a trust via income or capital payments, therefore keeping my client’s wealth with them.

In addition to the above I manage all Trust projects, from ensuring we comply with Common Reporting Standards and FATCA, to keeping up to date with the Trust Registration Service requirements and all changes in legislation.

If you need help with any areas surrounding Trusts, then get it in touch and let’s have a chat.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

I would really like to try Cliff Jumping!
