What do you do?

I provide advice and support to prospective purchasers/investors or sellers of businesses based on detailed financial analysis (typically including both historical and forecast information) and discussions with senior management to ensure that my client has all the relevant information in order to make an informed decision.

Why do you do it?

I love being involved in something that is strategic, influences a business’ direction and helps shape the future of that business. I also enjoy seeing owners sell their business, realising the benefit of all their years of hard work and dedication. Let’s be honest as well, I’m an accountant, and what accountant doesn’t love a spreadsheet with reams of data to analyse!

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I’ve been involved in dozens of different transactions since moving to TS from audit in 2014. My most interesting projects include Foresight’s investment in 200 Degrees (I love coffee!), and a recent vendor due diligence report which we turned around in record time and were still able to deliver a high quality report which was well received by the client.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

To travel to over 100 different countries. I love to experience new cultures (particularly from a gastronomic point of view). I’m currently in the mid-40’s, so there’s still some way to go before I bring my century up!
