What do you do?

I’m responsible for the performance of the team – what we do and how we do it. I help implement the team’s operational processes and oversee the delivery of VAT work to our clients.

Why do you do it?

I almost literally fell into VAT whilst nursing torn cruciate ligaments. I’d planned a career in sport but have never looked back! I love meeting people and learning about their businesses. How they operate, what they do and how they do it. My job is focused on helping business owners grow their businesses without worrying about the complexities of VAT – we’re here to take away that stress.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I get to work with a wide range of different businesses. From those trading solely in the UK to large corporate entities trading internationally. With my love of sport I’ve particularly enjoyed working with lots of organisations and businesses within the sports sector.  Working out how we can help businesses seamlessly integrate VAT into their everyday operations without it becoming a burden is really interesting to me. There’s no one size fits all when it comes to VAT.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

Attending all the major international sporting events and watching in style, staying in the best hotels with first class travel. From tennis at Roland Garros through to the Australian Suncorp Netball Super League. I pretty much love watching all sports. That or a cruise along the Amazon.
