What do you do?
The best way to describe what I do is the equivalent of a survey performed before a house purchase, but for buying companies. I diligence information on the target businesses and report back to our clients so that they can make informed decisions about whether to go ahead with the purchase and at what price.
Why do you do it?
Ever since I qualified, I have wanted move into the Deals practice. It was just about finding the right time and right firm to make that move with. The culture and people at CP drew me in and I love working closely as part of a focused and dedicated team. I love being in a client-facing role, and the fact that the work we do adds value to our clients makes me proud.
What kind of projects have you been involved in?
To date, I have worked on projects across a number of different sectors including: fintech, manufacturing and most recently, a management buyout of a worldwide distributor of consumer products.
What’s on top of your bucket list?
I would love to see the Northern Lights, but more generally just to get back to holidaying after 2 years at home! This year I’m going to Cameroon and Istanbul.
