What do you do?
I engage in the due diligence with clients looking to buy/fund or sell. This generally involves ensuring that the financial information is reflective of the company’s position and is accurately stated and aim to give clients confidence in the deal they are making.
Why do you do it?
Having only recently joined from a background in audit, I really enjoy adding value to clients who may not have had previous experience of buying/selling businesses; advising and sharing key insights which inspires confidence on the deal they are about to make.
What kind of projects have you been involved in?
I am currently working with a family run business (only 7 mins from my home in moderate traffic!) where the incumbents have been running the business for around 100 years and are now going through a management buyout. They specialise in Aluminium castings and have a customer base which extends past the UK.
What’s on top of your bucket list?
Not something I’m in control of but after the summer of 2018, I would love to see England win a world cup #itscominghome. Other than that, I would like to see the Northern Lights one day.
