What do you do?

I manage our bespoke software, Snapshot for the Service Charge team along with providing the team with analytical reports and technical software support.

I also manage our bookkeeping, VAT and Management Company statutory accounts clients in the department.

Why do you do it?

I have always loved data analytics and software; it is one of my biggest passions and certainly a strength of mine. I love being able to go through data and build meaningful reports from it to explain it to others. I also love finding new processes and evolving the way we work and build on efficiencies.

Another great passion of mine is the day-to-day bookkeeping/accounting for clients as it is the core account’s function which is crucial to a business. Perfecting this process can provide powerful reporting insight to key performance and allow growth to take place, not only that, but it also certainly eases the year end process.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I have been involved with fair few projects which I have loved, and these were, moving clients from old, dated accounting software to Xero, reporting solutions for clients and the department, software/application solutions and more.

I have been able to transform some client’s systems by modernizing their accounting system and reviewing the current processes and software to be able to speed up data entry or processes. Saving time on basic tasks which frees up time to allow clients to focus on what they do best.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

I would love to compete at Crufts in the agility championship show, I started the sport with my working cocker spaniels in June 2019 and have loved the sport and become addicted. We started competing in Kennel Club shows in 2020 and have been all over the country. My dogs are everything to me and provide that escape from life feeling.
