What do you do?

I work with individuals to help them understand their personal tax affairs and look at ways on how they can minimize the amount of tax they pay. My role at Cooper Parry involves me working with a range of clients including individuals in Sports and Media, business owners and those coming to work in the UK.

Why do you do it?

The dream of becoming a footballer didn’t quite work out but who knew that the next dream would be becoming a tax adviser? Calculations were always my favourite task to do at school, so it was a no-brainer that I’d be pursuing a career in accountancy.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

Our Sports and Media client base has been growing as well as the demand for our advice in this area of tax. We have advised several of our clients on how to structure their image rights contracts and ways to manage the income generated from them tax efficiently.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

The top thing I have on my bucket list is to go watch Nottingham Forest FC win the UEFA Champions League final. It will probably never happen, but there’s no harm in dreaming!

Other ideas on the list include learning a new language, travelling the world, and driving a lap around the whole of Great Britain.
