    What do you do?

Officially, I’m the BDM for the Not for Profit and Pensions team.

Which basically means I’m a match maker and manage the partnership between our NFP team and our current and potential new clients. I’m a creative at heart, so I work closely with our marketing team to help bring our sector to life. I’m passionate about helping non-profit/Not for Profit organisations maximize their results by sharing best practice from our sector and beyond. I want to make sure that I connect them with the best people for the job.

    Why do you do it?

I’ve not come from the accountancy world and was wowed by the company when a former employee recommended Cooper Parry.

I chose to work for Cooper Parry specifically because I wanted a role that would add real value. It’s enabled me to bring together my varied contacts from commercial and non-profit organisations with a business that can really help them.

It’s a job with a purpose & an opportunity to really make a difference to the world (which is a great excuse to get out of bed).

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I have commercial experience gained across huge global businesses that include Universal Music, Technogym and Britvic. I’ve also been a charity volunteer for over 18 years. After serving in the British Army both in Iraq and Afghanistan, I started my volunteer journey with the British Legion focusing on supporting elderly veterans. There is a real gap in mental health services for veterans struggling with PTSD, severe depression and addiction.

I returned to furthering my education so I could help identify the well-being support needed. I continued this work during my time within the music industry. I still partner with various charities on a volunteer bias as I feel passionately about the issue. I’m involved with mentoring vulnerable patients to building engagement and development strategies for charities.

Now that I’m with Cooper Parry I can really take this further.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

After becoming a mum during lockdown, it’s a toss-up between a very quiet weekend in a beautiful Cotswold’s spa or a weekend in Austin. I’d like to get together with all my favorite people, drinking my favorite whiskey. Of course, all while someone cares for my darling son until my hangover wears off.
