What do you do?

I’m Ade Cheatham’s Executive Assistant. My main responsibility is to make sure Ade utilises his time effectively in order to grow the business. I ensure he doesn’t have to focus on administration (i.e. diary management, organising travel etc.) so he can devote maximum time to strategic tasks. 

Why do you do it?

I never planned on becoming a PA but I soon realised that it was the job for me. I really enjoy organising people and get a lot of job satisfaction from helping others achieve their goals.

I also love CP and the unique work environment. I’ve worked as a PA in several companies from family businesses to FTSE 100s but I’ve never felt so engaged with an organisation’s culture and ethos as much as I do here.      

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I’m not directly involved in client-facing projects, but I view each day as a project. There’s always something happening so I have to plan, prioritise and work with others to get things done. It’s not just about getting the job done but about trust and growing solid working relationships along the way.

What's on top of your bucket list?

If I’m being honest, I don’t really have a bucket list as such!  I’d much rather make the most of what I already have, and if I find that there is something I really want to do, I’ll just do it!  The most important thing to me is my family, and as long as I’m having fun and adventures with them I’m fulfilled.
