What do you do?

I’m a marketing intern, which means that I lend support to any members of the team when they need it, learning along the way. Currently, I’m most heavily involved with events and client experience (CX).

In events, I join in with the entire process; planning, organizing and making sure our incredible events go smoothly. And when it comes to our clients’ experience with us, I help to make sure we’re as irresistible as possible; sending out gifts and surveys to get their opinions and ultimately making CP better for them.

Why do you do it?

I found my internship at CP by complete luck! I was doing my A-levels and decided I didn’t want to go to Uni anymore, I was sick of just sitting in a room being talked to all day, and then having to write about it!

So, I deferred my Uni place and started to look for something more creative. Something that would allow me to use my more adventurous side that had been locked away at college.

I thought marketing would be a good thing to do, it sounded exciting. Then, one day my friend came back from an interview at CP. She described the office and the ethos, and straight away I knew I had to apply, so here I am!

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I think one of the most exciting things I was involved in must be the Culture Carnival! Because it was three days after I started, I was thrown into the deep end for sure – but it gave me such a good taste of what life at CP is like.

The way the team pulled together to support one another at the event and seeing the way the client is at the heart of everything we do is inspiring. Seeing the clients’ feedback was extremely rewarding too, and it’s fueled my ambition to create even better events as time goes on.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

The number one thing I’d love to do is see Queen live in concert BUT seeing as circumstances are against me – I’ll have to settle for questionable tribute bands. I don’t really have a bucket list, I try and do whatever it is I have my heart set on, but if I did have to choose an ultimate dream, that would be it
