What do you do?
I’m lucky to work with a totally talented and multi-skilled marketing team, leading on growth through efficient and effective delivery of our activities. My focus is continually developing and embedding a super-charged marketing operation that keeps us laser focussed, perfectly synchronised and always inspired.
Why do you do it?
After many years of working as a marketing manager in global technology organisations, moving to Cooper Parry has come as a breath of fresh air. We’re actually doing what many big corporates are still aspiring to, but finding that antiquated, often toxic ideals are too engrained in their DNA to affect more than lip service to new, empowering ways of working and connecting with the market.
That being said, I’ve brought many years of skills and experience acquired in the global technology market, that I use to help us be more agile, more dynamic and operationally slick. I love making connections, whether it’s people, places, or things. And this role allows me to formulate links between workloads, people, trends, the list goes on.
What kind of projects have you been involved in?
As you could imagine, this is a role that spans across all CP propositions. I get to work on projects that improve our internal operation as well as those that are client-facing, from our website to social media, events, creative content, and marketing insights.
What’s on top of your bucket list?
Visiting more countries! Like I said, I love making connections and no connections are better than seeing the world. I’ve travelled a lot through business, and my work colleagues know me for disappearing for a while at least once a year to connect with my people in the Caribbean. Now I need to strike more countries off my list!
