What do you do?

Hey I’m Andrew,  a Relationship Partner at Cooper Parry – the focal point for all we do with the clients I look after. I spend time with clients, understand them as people and their businesses and find solutions to their problems and issues, either within Cooper Parry or externally, and help them look forward.

I’m an audit partner too, signing off audit reports for clients, a bit of a challenging role in the current audit environment!

And I’m also on the Board of Cooper Parry, so I’m not just an advisor, but play a part in helping manage a large, successful business, so I understand first-hand what our clients see and feel.

Why do you do it?

Now, because I enjoy working with people and helping them.

Initially, because I thought being a Chartered Accountant was highly regarded, and that it was a very versatile business qualification to have.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I work with a very wide-ranging client base in all sorts of interesting businesses and sectors.

I’m focused on helping clients protect and grow their value. And when the time is right, introduce them to our Mergers & Acquisitions team who help clients realise the value of the many years of hard work of building a business.

I’ve been involved in acquisitions, disposals, re-organisations, strategic planning, succession planning, tax planning etc. – loads of really interesting stuff.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

I don’t have a bucket list as such – sorry, boring I know, but lots of travel with my wife and family.

Top of my wish list though is to see Liverpool FC win the premier league and be there when they lift the trophy!
