JONES BOOTMAKER & BRANTANO ADVISED ON SALE TO ALTERI INVESTORS

Cooper Parry’s award-winning Corporate Finance team have advised the Management of Jones Bootmakers and Brantano, two of Britain’s largest footwear chains.

Andy Parker advised management during the sale of the two businesses to private equity firm Alteri Investors from the Dutch parent company Machintosh.

Andy Parker commented:

“This transaction represented a big milestone for Jones Bookmakers and Brantano and, having advised David Short and his strong team, I am in no doubt that, despite a highly competitive high street, the additional support for product and store development as well as the specialist retail insights Alteri will bring, the business will go from strength to strength.”

This latest role for Cooper Parry CF strengthens its credentials in specialist retail and private equity, swiftly following the sale of convenience and petrol retailer Brobot Group to HKS Holdings, the sale of a medical device company to a US based Private Equity firm and advising shareholders and management on LDC’s private equity investment into Centiq.
