The scene’s set. It’s the big one. The annual BAA awards night at London’s glittering Grosvenor Hotel. The anticipation rises. The room silences. Boom. We hear those immortal words: PKF Cooper Parry. Everything erupts. It feels even sweeter because this is such a massive team effort. And it’s more proof that we’re doing is working for us – and just as importantly – for our clients.
It’s no coincidence that we continue to work with more privately-owned businesses in the Midlands with a turnover between £10-£200m than anyone else. Our submission emphasised our focus on innovation, culture, return on investment, impact and management quality.
At last year’s BAA awards, we walked away with recognition as Most Innovative Firm (mid-tier). And we got the bug. This award also comes after recently winning Tolley’s Tax Team of the Year, 12th place finish at The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For 2018 and winning the Professional Services Awards at The Birmingham Post Business Awards 2017.
Our Head of Audit, Andy Chandler, said:
“This is brilliant team effort. Not just those of us on the stage but for everyone at our Sky View and Park View offices. It speaks volumes for the fantastic people that work here – drawn together by our powerful culture and ambition to be the best in our chosen field. It’s a great feeling to be recognised by our peers. It also inspires us to continue innovating for our clients.”
