6th January

In March last year, Cooper Parry, like many businesses, put the safety and health of our teams, clients and communities at the epicentre of our decision making. For exceptional times, we created carefully considered and practical plans to deal with the commercial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

Now, at the beginning of 2021, we have revisited these plans to ensure they remain relevant, effective and within the latest guidance for the new Level 5 ‘Critical’ alert status.

What we have learned since the first two national Lockdowns is that these plans ensured minimal disruption to our work and our client service. And, whilst the ongoing uncertainty continues to provide challenges, we also know that our innovative ways of working work have delivered brilliantly. However, we appreciate that these remain challenging times for all.

As part of our strong Digital Culture, our technology infrastructure is largely Cloud based and our teams across the UK have remote access working systems and processes which allow them to engage effectively from almost anywhere.

We are providing our teams with all the latest advice and guidelines to help us all make robust, consistent and safe decisions around the way we work and interact with others.

In this fast-changing situation, we are also continually reviewing arrangements for external meetings. Our IT platform includes Microsoft Teams and we are strongly encouraging (as determined by the current Level 5 alert status) our team to hold remote meetings where practicable. We are also encouraging our clients to make use of this facility to reduce the level of personal contact.

Naturally, we will continue to update you on the specific steps that we are taking as the situation evolves throughout Lockdown 3. In this collaborative spirit, we are sure that you will reciprocate.

If you have any specific queries relating to COVID-19 or Lockdown 3, please contact Michelle McDonald, our Risk and Compliance Manager michelle.mcdonald@cooperparry.com

Thank you for your continued understanding. Stay safe.
